This past weekend Matt and I started taking Sage on walks. He seems to enjoy the walks... although it's hard to tell, he's always asleep! But Matt and I love it! We get some exercise, we get some sunshine, and we get a chance to talk.
I then decided to try the Baby Bjorn front carrier. What a great invention! A super comfortable way to carry a baby, totally hands-free. Sage seemed to enjoy it too. But of course...once again... he fell asleep. The kid is clearly comforted by motion.
Sage had his first playdate on August 28th. We met up with my friend Cassidy and her son Channing. Channing was born one day after Sage. Cassidy's hospital recovery room was only a couple doors down from mine. We were able to visit each other while in the hospital. Pretty crazy to share such an experience with your friend. We used to take lunch walks together back when we were pregnant. We then labored and delivered together. And now here we are taking our boys out!
