The news was shared with our family over the Christmas holiday. It was hard to keep the secret for so long! But, this is the kind of news that should be shared in person. It was on January 18th, 2012 that everyone got their first glimpse of the little one inside me. I was only twelve weeks along in my pregnancy.
We started working on the nursery in February.
Then on March 5th, 2012 another ultrasound was scheduled. We discovered that evening we were expecting a little boy. He had no interest in showing his face, but he did flash us a pretty impressive "thumbs up"!
