Greetings From Antarctica!

Ok... just kidding.
But what's the difference? Colorado. Antarctica.
Cloudy, cold, and oh so miserable.

I like to think of myself as inclusive and open-minded and tolerant.

But I really hate January. Sorry January. I know it's not your fault. But you suck!

We all have "Christmas hangovers." The joy of the season was gone is the flash of an eye. And all that's left behind is cardboard boxes awaiting the return of their seasonal decorations. And despite the end of January only a week away. The xmas clean-up process is only half way done. It's the most mind-numbing and depressing of chores. And it continues to drag on.

We kicked off 2017 in good spirits, with a festive NYE party with good friends.

But it's been slow-going since then.

The kid's table was THE place to be!

In the weeks following we hibernated. Rarely leaving the house.

We watched movies and ate comfort food.

Tried some kitchen-friendly science experiments.

Ran into friends at the grocery store.

(P.S. Check out the sign on the back wall....)

And took a trip down to City Hall to get passports for everyone.

And this last weekend, Sage (and his crew) were invited to a birthday party at Jumpin.

The place is filled wall to wall with bouncy houses.
But the slide was the main attraction.

A closer look at the face of joy.

Kale was unstoppable. I did the slide with him maybe 4 times. Matt did a couple rounds too. But Kale wanted more, and the parents were sweating from the extreme aerobic workout of climbing the tall inflatable ladder with a tyke in tow. So finally we said, try it yourself!

And he did. His motor skills are impressive. Language? Well...we are getting there. But when it comes to physical prowess.
He's got it!

See you in February.
Good luck!
