Saturday was gorgeous! Sunny and warm. I seriously think Autumn might be my new favorite season. Summer has historically been my favorite...but it's so dang hot!
Look at their shadows! How precious. A boy and his father...
Matt and his "mini me."
These two are connected at the hip. Sage is in a total daddy phase. He is super into Matt. Cries every time he walks out the door without him. Sages loves being outside, in the yard, messing with plants. Matt will no doubt create a monster... a plant monster!
Dad found a worm in the yard. Sage was very interested in touching it.
He was content for several hours just digging around in the wheelbarrow. Such a good helper!
Do you like the sharp, slightly rusted tool I let my son play with?!?
Sage also did some cat-wrangling.
He LOVES those cats...to a fault.
Poor poor Nico.
The face of determination.
And of course.... the classic Autumn kid's activity
JUMPING IN THE LEAVES!
Sage was such a good helper in the backyard, I though maybe he would like to assist me in the kitchen.
Bad idea.
"Uh ew!"
Sage dumped a bag of sugar on the ground.
No problem...
Maybe Sage will help me with the laundry.
Wrong again.
He dumped my basket, and then climbed on top.
Forget the chores...let's just feed him! That's the safe zone. Sage can't get into much trouble in his high chair.
Look at my big boy using his own spork!
I've enjoyed having my lunch hour to myself once again...just like old times. And I've used those free hours to revisit some of my hobbies. It's been nearly 2 years since I last knitted. I decided it was time to start creating again. I'm working on a hat for Sage!
