Autumn has officially arrived and temperatures have dipped into the low to mid 70's. It's gorgeous outside. I'm having fun dressing Sage in warmer style clothes like this adorable outfit from Gymboree. I think he looks like a catalogue model!
Sage loves his papa. When Matt gets home from work Sage gets very excited and lights right up! The two have conversations together. Sage coos and smiles as Matt talks to him about his day.
Sage received this stuffed Kiwi bird from his relatives in Australia. Eight weeks old and he's already getting international mail!
Here I am nursing Sage during our Saturday morning breakfast outing. Nursing covers with a rigid neckline are a must for any new mom! Highly recommended.
This past Saturday Matt, Sage, and I walked up to Doug's Day Diner for a lovely made-from-scratch breakfast. We ate outside on the patio. I had my first coffee in nearly 12 months. I ordered it 3/4 decaf and 1/4 regular. I'm sure the server thought I was nuts. But what luxury! Unfortunately, I think the caffeine affected Sage. He barely slept the rest of the day.
Look at those arms!! The spittin' image of Popeye.
More spinach, Sage?
Sage is now eight weeks old. He's getting so strong! He's smiling all the time. And he's communicating with his voice more. Loud screams, adorable cooing, and even a giggle here and there. He's learning how to control his arms and hit objects dangling above him. And, I've been increasing his tummy time each day.
